Welcome to the world of story catching.  It’s a place where you can write without fear of failure.  No one is going to correct your grammar, no one is going to grade your ability to write or criticize your style.  Story Catching is about you writing your story in your style and tone, using your words.  There’s no right or wrong, just write the story. 

For those that don’t know where to start, we’ll use a theme each month.  Try and take the theme and expand it to include a story about your life.  I know there are a lot of stories out there about Escalante,  perhaps you’d be willing to share one of those.  Whatever is happening in your life, send it to me and I’ll post it here.  Just send it to Jana@explore escalante.com.  Mark the subject as storycatching. 

Or bring it to the Gallery the 1st Monday at 7 PM. We’ll start in July.  We’re not going to “scrapbook” in the traditional sense.  We’re story catching for digital storytelling and digital pages.  You don’t have to have embellishments; you don’t have to be artsy; you have to want to share your story with your family and I’ll show you how to take it and a picture and have an 8 x 8 page of your special memory.
